Greetings. You have reached the main curriculum site for Dr. Michael Sharp’s (that’s me) Lightning PathTM. The Lightning PathTM is a powerful, effective, intellectually rigorous, logical, consistent, and painstakingly put together system of spirituality. On this site you will find books, articles, visualizations, meditations, student/teacher dialogues, frequently asked questions, audio files, and other resources to help you awaken, empower, ascend, and complete the shift currently underway of this planet. This short welcome is to help you get oriented on this, and related, LP sites.
As you are probably aware if you have registered on this site, the Lightning PathTM is a graded system of spiritual study designed to provide you with what you need to know to awaken, empower, and ascend. The system is divided into four levels, core, intermediate, advanced, and mentor (with an academic level coming in a few years). Each level provides a set of concepts, ideas, and practices that provide a foundation for a controlled process of awakening and empowerment. This process gradually (and safely) puts you in touch with a power and light (your power and light) that you may not have thought existed, or that you have been taught to fear.
I should say up front that progress on the Lightning PathTM can be very fast, faster than some people can accommodate. If you do the Great Invocation several times a day you may experience explosive manifestations of all your buried issues. Even if you do not do the Great Invocation, you may find that dramatic life events and dramatic changes begin to occur anyway as you settle into the vibration of this material. If you find things are overwhelming, stop the visualization for a period of time until you can get your bearings or perhaps make contact on our forums and ask for assistance. This is not a race and the realities you will be confronting may be quite different than what you have been taught to expect, so take the time you need to integrate and process. Just put in your mind the intent to move forward (i.e., say “I want to move forward”) and keep that intent even if you have to step off the path. In this way you will always return when you are ready.
LP Support Options
As you wend your way on the Lightning Path, keep in mind we have various support options. Your first level of support is provided by the Lightning PathTM forums. If you have questions or concerns, start there. If you are really anxious to move forward quickly, or simply need additional help or guidance because of difficult trauma you have experienced (either in this life, or in a past life), consider the mentor option. Mentoring provides powerful and professional level spiritual and psychological guidance. A mentor will be able to offer advice, information, and even point you in the direction of appropriate Lightning PathTM resources if you get stuck or bogged down. A mentor can also help you identify and deal with blockages in your own life that prevent you from moving forward and can often speed up your progress and make the entire experience more pleasant.
Getting Started
If you are new here then your first task should be to read the Lightning PathTM core books. All the LP core books are available for free. Just click the quick start guide menu item. If you are new you may also want to browse around the forums. Have a look at what others are posting and introduce yourself if you are so inclined. We have developed a very strong and wise community here and we are more than willing to offer support, guidance, and to answer any questions you may have.
A few things to note before turning you lose.
Make sure to read the forums. There is a lot of valuable information and discussion that goes on there (you do need to be a subscriber to access intermediate and advanced level discussions).
If you are a little confused by the navigational structure of the site, peruse the navigation tutorial along the top menu. There’s also a sitemap.
A note on 2012
Also if you are worried about 2012, do not be. The profits and pundits who have caught the 2012 bug are about a clueless about what’s really going on on this planet as a rock. And if you doubt that, or if you think I am being a little harsh, have a look at this little article where I critically analyze the belief system of one individual trying to sell his book on how to survive 2012. As it turns out, the fellow’s belief in the significance of 2012 is based on vapour. Really the only thing significant about 2012, from my perspective, is that this is when I plan on releasing the last Lightning PathTM book. Personally I just hope that come 2012 we hold the people who led us into fear and despair accountable for their deceptions. They are scaring the children of this earth and we cannot let that happen again.

Have a look at the FAQ to see if they haven’t already been answered and if not, you can either post your questions on the forum or email me directly. I respond to all questions though sometimes it might take a while. If you’re getting impatient, feel free to poke me with a stick and remind me you’re waiting.
I would like to take this opportunity to thank you for making it this far and for choosing to explore The Lightning PathTM in more detail. There are some interesting years that lie ahead of us, no doubt about that anymore. I am sure you will find the Lightning PathTM to be the best guide and preparation available for you.
