LP Principles – The Highest Truths for the Greatest Good
I began writing the Lighting PathTM materials in 2002 and during the course of the development of this spiritual system I have tried to stay true to several foundational principles. These principles have guided the development of the Lightning PathTM since its inception. There are three principles in all, listed and described below for your information.
No Rocket Science
The first LP principle is easy to get your head around and it is simply, no rocket science. By that I simply mean no complicated gobbledygook, no EPMO (see box), no long sentences, no complicated noun phrases, no twisted grammatical constructions, no ego, no flash, no fancy, just simple prose communicating the highest spiritual truths in a grounded and direct fashion.

You won’t find it here.
No Hierarchy and No Privilege
The second principle that guides LP writing and teaching is no hierarchy and no privilege. You will not find anything in the LP that supports, justifies, or helps create structures of hierarchy and privilege anywhere. There is no nonsense about “being chosen,” no “only the strong survive and thrive,” no suggestion that some are worthy and others are not, no justifications of judgment and punishment, and no intimation that some people deserve to be rewarded while others do not. The message on the LP is clear and unmuddied by corrupt justification–we are all members of the same family of spirit, we all issue from the same source, we are all expressions of divine consciousness, and we all deserve health, happiness, prosperity, education, wealth, housing, and a nice environment.

You want excuses for the story state of the world as it is?
You won’t find them here.
Nothing but the Truth – No Compromise and No Strings Attached
The third principle that guides LP teachings is “The truth and nothing but the truth, no compromise, and no strings attached. This two part principle means, on the one hand, that on the Lightning PathTM we strive to express the highest Truths possible at all times. That is, we make every effort to be one hundred accurate in everything we say. Furthermore, we do not beat around the bush, we do not water down truths, we do not let ego get involved, we do not allow temptation or manipulation to sway our message, and we do not say something just because we believe the other person wants to here it. On the LP we provide the truth and nothing but, no comprise. Of course this doesn’t mean that we do not make mistakes, or that we cannot get something wrong. But we always strive to correct our errors and omissions and move the corpus forward towards the highest expressions of the truth, for the greatest good of all things.

The second part of this principle, no strings attached, means that we do not put our hooks into you. It is a common phenomenon amongst spiritual teachers and religious paths to put hooks out. In order to get your loyalty, and your dollars, they will stroke your ego, tell you that you are special, tell you that they are the only ones that have the truth, offer you power, money, and sex, and tell you just about anything to get you to send your energy their way. It is a simple case of emotional and psychological manipulation and almost all old world religions, from cult to established institution, do it. Only some are worthy and oh but aren’t you lucky that you are one of the worthy ones!
It is not like that on the LP. Here we do not put out hooks and attach strings. We will not tell you that you have to be special or worthy or evolved or have special “degrees” or expect you to submit or perform or otherwise engage in acts you do not wish to do. Our materials are suitable for everybody and there are no conditions placed on access. Furthermore, reading LP materials will not make you special in any way. LP materials will not “set you apart” or “put you above” or otherwise give you reason to assume you are better than. The truth is we are all equal members of the same glorious family of spirit. All the Lighting Path does is return you to yourself. This is a little thing, and a big thing, but the key is that it is a thing meant for everybody. All are welcome through the doors of this temple.
